What to Watch For: This is the second feature film for director V. W. Scheich. His first was the 2016 film Interwoven starring Mo’Nique, Brook Burgstahler, Jon Eiswerth, and Myles Cranford.

Word on the Street: James Maslow is best known as a member of the music group Big Time Rush.

My Take: Ciara Hanna was on season 13 of America’s Next Top Model.

What to Watch For: The film is based on the best-selling book by Naomi Higashida, written when he was just thirteen.

Word on the Street: The film has been a big hit on the film festival circuit, winning the Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival for World Cinema Documentary and Best Documentary at the 2020 Denver International Film Festival.

My Take: I can’t wait to see this film as it has been getting rave reviews from my fellow film critics.

Word on the Street: the film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2020 Manhattanhenge Film Festival.

My Take: The film stars a favorite actor of mine, Andy Garcia.

My Take: I always enjoy zombie films.
