Dekalb County, Ga. (CW69 News at 10) — Dekalb County Police are looking for suspects in a shooting they said critically injured one man and wounded another one late Monday night.

Police said the shooting happened just before midnight outside the Austin Oaks Apartments on Glenwood Road.

Investigators said a man in his mid-30’s was shot several times after an argument in the parking lot. They rushed him to the hospital.

Police said a second victim was shot at the same location. They said that person arrived with a gunshot wound at another hospital and was unable to give them any information.

There’s no word on his condition.

Residents told CW69 they’re concerned about crime in the area, but they were too afraid to go on camera.

One man didn’t want his face shown.

“It will quiet down for three or four months, then all of a sudden, all hell breaks loose,” he said, adding he wants police to do more. “Do like they do on the north end: put patrols over here regularly.”

Police have not indicated how many suspects are involved.

They said the case is still under investigation.
