What to Watch For: This is the fourth installment of The Grudge film series.

Word on the Street: The film is being pitched as a reboot and that the character of Kayako, who was central to the first three films, may not be in this film.

My Take: I loved the 1st film in the series, so I look forward to seeing what they do in this reboot.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

Word on the Street: The film won Honorable Mention in the Documentary Feature category at the 2019 Hamptons International Film Festival.

My Take: The film concentrates on Cunningham’s most famous works during a period from 1942 to 1972.

The film opens Friday exclusively in Atlanta at Regal Tara Cinema
