Dr. Charles Moore, Director of Emory University’s Urban Health Initiative is featured in HBO’s upcoming documentary, “One Nation Under Stress.” In the 1960s, Americans had among the highest life expectancy in the world. Today, the U.S. ranks near the bottom of major developed nations. Following the viewing will be a panel to discuss the systemic and structural issues of chronic stress, distrust of the medical system and historic discrimination particular to communities in the south.
