Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best high-end sushi spots in Atlanta, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to fill the bill.

1. Umi

Topping the list is Umi. Located at 3050 Peachtree Road in Buckhead, it is the highest-rated high-end sushi spot in Atlanta, boasting 4.5 stars out of 542 reviews on Yelp. Chef Fuyuhiko Ito’s menu features a mix of both traditional and innovative Japanese dishes, made with fresh fish and ingredients from around the world.

2. Ray’s In The City

Next up is downtown’s Ray’s In The City, situated at 240 Peachtree St. NW. With four stars out of 643 reviews on Yelp, the restaurant, which serves sushi, seafood, traditional American food and more, has proven to be a local favorite for those looking to indulge. Ray’s In The City flies in fresh fish daily and offers live music Wednesday through Saturday.

3. O-Ku Sushi

Home Park’s O-Ku Sushi, located at 1085 Howell Mill Road, Suite A3, is the sister restaurant to O-Ku in Charleston. It’s another top spot in Atlanta for high-quality sashimi and specialty rolls, with Yelpers giving the fancy sushi bar and Asian fusion restaurant four stars out of 345 reviews.

4. Tomo Japanese Restaurant

Tomo Japanese Restaurant, a sushi bar and Asian fusion restaurant, is another pricey go-to, with four stars out of 293 Yelp reviews. Chef Tomo Naito offers a menu of sushi and Japanese-inspired meals made with fresh, hand-picked ingredients. 5. MF Sushi Atlanta

Over in Inman Park, check out MF Sushi Atlanta, which has earned four stars out of 203 reviews on Yelp. Head over to 299 N. Highland Ave. NE, Suite K, to treat yourself to either lunch or dinner, and be sure to give yourself plenty of time to look over the large menu.
