Three men are being held in a high-security mental institution: David Dunn (Bruce Willis), a former security guard who has somehow supernatural powers, Kevin (James McAvoy), a killer that has 24 personalities and a mysterious man named Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson). Glass Website

What to Watch For: M. Night Shyamalan’s follow up to his 2016 hit Split and is a companion piece to his 2000 film Unbreakable.

Word on the Street: Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Spencer Treat Clark, and Charlayne Woodard reprise their roles from Unbreakable, 19 years later.

My Take: We knew this movie was coming because we saw Bruce Willis’s character at the end of Split.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

Destroyer (2018)  R

What to Watch For: Nicole Kidman got the flu during filming, and instead of shutting down, she used the flu to help her world-weary performance.

Word on the Street: Preparing for his role in the film, Sebastian Stan met with an FBI agent to get some pointers.

My Take: Besides Kidman and Stan, the cast includes Tatiana Masiany, Toby Kebbell, and Bradley Whitford.

The film opens in Atlanta on Friday at Regal Tara Cinemas 4 and Regal Avalon
