An incredibly fun show, School of Rock, is a musical of sheer talent and bubbling energy. I’ve never seen the movie with Jack Black, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. And I’m glad I didn’t. I was able to give each actor their chance to bring their own characters to life in their own unique ways. I was absolutely floored by the talent on stage. I spoke with two Atlanta natives, Jacob Moran (James, u/s Freddy) and Bella Fraker (Swing, u/s Summer, Marcy, Katie, Shonelle) who are both excited about taking the Fox Theatre stage during this run.

  •  How does it feel performing in your own hometown?

Jacob: It’s very exciting to perform in my hometown. I have been going to the Fox since I was little and dreamed of being on that stage. I am so grateful for the friends and family who will come see. I would never have expected so much support and this will be a very exciting week for me.

  •  For those that haven’t seen the movie, what do you think the audience will take away from this awesome show?

Bella: I hope the audience will take away , if you put your mind to something and believe in yourself, you can do anything! And don’t forget to always “Stick it to the Man!”
