Gamers from around the world come together to play popular games like “Overwatch,” “Rainbow Six” and “Call of Duty” in groups similar to those of conventional sports teams. Few, however, are good enough to make a living from it. InsideEdition.com went behind the scenes with a Texas-based esports team to find out what it takes to be pro gamer. “Esports monetization will reach $3 billion by 2022,” according to The Street, and esports viewership will reach 300 million, equal to today’s NFL ratings.
