Preventing FOMO* one list at a time (*Fear of Missing Out)
Let’s talk events. Your list to the best events going down in our great city over the rest of the summer! Now, when choosing these events I tried to keep three key groups in mind: people without kids, people with kids, and people with kids that just don’t care (you’re welcome).
- July 14th 11am-4pm
- Historic 4th Ward Park
Get your team together and show up for a day of adult tug of war, relays, obstacle courses, and more. Hosted by Atlanta Sport and Social Club.
- July 21st 12-3pm
- Lot A, the Gulch
Hosted by the Atlanta Sport and Social Club this event, is the perfect way to prepare for the soccer game. Before you see Atlanta take the win from DC enjoy complimentary margs, beer, and tailgate games.
- July 28th 1-5pm
- John Howell Park
Beer, beer, beer, and a little bit more beer. Your ticket includes a super cool mason jar to drink all your beer out of and unlimited tastings of over 70 different types of brew. Hosted by Atlanta Sport and Social Club.
- August 5th 12:30-5pm
- Park Tavern
Let’s pop bottles! Tickets include food and drink vouchers.
- August 10th 7-11pm
- Fernbank Museum of Natural History
The theme of this one is called Brewing and Bootlegging. Enjoy science activities, music, drinks, and 3D movies.
- August 11th 12-4pm
- Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail
Enjoy the Beltline with 5 complimentary drink tickets. Hosted by Atlanta Sport and Social Club.

- September 15th 9am-2:30pm
- Sweetwater Brewing Company
Grab your bike! You can choose 15 miles or 30 miles. No worries because there will be lots of rest stops and refreshments. They will start the day with coffee, pastries, and bike tune ups. At the end of your ride you get to enjoy 2 beers, music, food trucks, games, and get to take home a Bike & Brew pint glass and koozie.
