Author JK Rowling’s Twitter profile starts off by apologizing to fans that she receives too many direct messages to read them all, but the active Twitter user proved once again that she does read- and respond – to some of her special mentions.
In April, Sabbah Haji Baji, a public school director from Northern India, tweeted the British author inviting her to visit their school, and specifically to meet 12 year old Kulsum who is learning English and wrote an essay about how JK Rowling’s life inspired her.  Just over an hour later, Rowling replied, asking for the student’s full name and an address to “send her something.”
