What to Watch For:  This is part two of a planned Jurassic World trilogy.

Word on the Street:  The dinosaurs in the film were created through a combination of animatronics and computer-generated imagery (CGI).

My Take:  Steven Spielberg was heavily involved with the script.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

Nancy (2018)

What to Watch For:  Writer/Director Christina Choe won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.

Word on the Street:  The outstanding cast includes John Leguizamo, Ann Dowd, and Steve Buscemi.

My Take:  This is the first feature film for Choe, who has directed several award-winning shorts.

Hearts Beat Loud  (2018)

What to Watch For:  All the songs were recorded live on the set.

Word on the Street:  The film won the Audience Award at the Sarasota Film Festival.

My Take:  This was my favorite film at the 2018 Atlanta Film Festival.

The film opens Friday at Landmark Midtown Art, The Springs Cinema and Taphouse, and AMC Phipps Plaza 14

Silverado  (1985)   Four very different gunslingers thrown together by fate travel to the western town of Silverado, where they encounter a corrupt sheriff.  The film stars Kevin Kline, Kevin Costner, Scott Glenn, and Sharon Stone.
