What to Watch For:  This film is a sequel to the two time Academy Award film, The Incredibles (2004).

Word on the Street:  When the teaser trailer was released in 2017, it got a record 113 million hits in its first week.

My Take: I loved the first film about a family of superheroes, so I am looking forward to this one.

Superfly  (2018)  R

Youngblood Priest (Trevor Young) tries to leave his life of crime behind, but forces pull him back in.  He decides to make one last deal before getting out of the cocaine businesses. Superfly Website

What to Watch For: This is a remake of the legendary 1972 blaxploitation film.

Word on the Street:  Soundtrack includes performances by Sleepy Brown, Future, Young Thug, H.E.R. and Lil Wayne.

My Take:  The film is directed by Director X, known for his award-winning music videos.

Tag  (2018)  R

A group of former classmates get together every year and play the kids game, Tag. One of the group (Jeremy Renner) who has never been tagged announces that he is quitting the game after this year. Tag Website

What to Watch For: A hilarious cast has been assembled including Isla Fisher, Annabelle Wallis, Jon Hamm, Leslie Bibb, Rashida Jones, Ed Helms, Brian Dennehy, Hannibal Buress and Nora Dunn.

Word on the Street:  The film is based on a true story.

My Take:  I love comedies.

Mountain  (2017)  PG

What to Watch For:  The film is narrated by Willem Dafoe.

Word on the Street:  Award-winning Director Jennifer Peedom directs Mountain.

My Take:  I have heard great things about this film from other film critics.
