A powerful, U.S. figure finally gets his shot with the production of Hamilton at the Fox Theatre now through June 10th!
Alexander Hamilton was known for challenging the norm and using his courageous (sometimes abrasive) attitude to enforce change throughout the early beginnings of the US Government. The only problem? His story is never fully told in history books, so thanks to the creative mind of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton’s story is brought to life on stage. This powerful production is equipped with new-age musical styles, fresh choreography and incredibly smart lyrical choices. History doesn’t have to be boring, and Hamilton is a prime example of that!READ MORE: Wonder Years' Star Danica McKellar Explains Why She Stopped Acting
Hamilton is a breath of fresh air, opening audiences to a multicultural cast, enlivening the stage with the diversity found in our country today. It gives those that don’t feel represented the opportunity to feel strong enough to say, “Wait…I can do this too! I can be up on that stage!” Every voice was powerful. Every person was magical. This production blew me away. It’s almost as if this musical was made for those that don’t normally attend musicals. It gets you “hype” while watching it. It makes you excited to come to the theatre. It keeps everything present and lively, making you yearn for more.
You don’t have to know much about Alexander Hamilton (not even that he’s on the $10 bill…see, I just changed some of your lives right there) to enjoy this show. In fact, go into it as blindly as you can. You’ll be shocked to see how some of the things you’ve learned in your AP US History class go hand-in-hand with what’s happening right on the stage in front of you.

While you’re at the Fox seeing this magnificent show, the theatre itself also has a special surprise for you–The Marquee Club, which made its official debut on May 19th.
The Fox Theatre welcomes the largest one-time revitalization effort since its opening in 1929. It is a beautiful, private space complete with hor d’oeuvre stations, five stationery bars pouring club-specific drinks/cocktails, as well as an enhanced food/beverage service experience.
Oh, and we can’t forget the climate-controlled rooftop terrace. Yep. That is definitely a thing. We walked the entire space and were absolutely blown away. Individual, Corporate or Broadway memberships can be purchased and provide a variety of options for both you and even some of your guests. You can find out more information by reaching the Fox Theatre’s Corporate Partnership, Premium Seating Office at 404.881.2127 or click here.
