Can the Met Gala be a fashion holiday, please? Because, with every new exhibition, I’m blown away by the fashion genius these gatherings cultivate. And, call me obsessed, but it certainly calls for a huge celebration. This year, the Meta Gala 2018 definitely exceeded my expectations of dramatic dress code with the exhibition’s theme – “Heavenly Bodies – Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” Challenged with the theme of religion, every celebrity get-up channeled a leap of faith, and Jennifer Lopez’s jeweled ensemble and Christian Comb’s suit statement is proof of why there’s a best-dressed category for the Met Gala this year.

I’m a fan of Met Gala fashion because of the designers who favor positivity and venture in it by bending the rules of style and shining a light on the extraordinary + extravagant elements – two key ingredients that make up my best dress picks for the Met Gala 2018.
