My Take:  I find it interesting that Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky play a couple in the film, and they are married in real life.

What to Watch For:  The film was shot in Atlanta, GA.

Word on the Streets:  An actor in the film, Eric Braeden, is the father of the writer/director of the film, Christian Gudegast.

My Take:  This is Christian Gudegast’s first director gig, but he has written six screenplays including A Man Apart and London Has Fallen.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

Word on the Street: Director Paul McGuigan was nominated for an Emmy for his directing on the TV series Sherlock.

My Take:  I always love seeing Annette Bening in a movie.

Word on the Street: This was a film that a lot of people were talking about at SXSW.

My Take:  Love that Academy Award-nominated John Hawkes lived for a while in Austin, TX where I went to school.

Word on the Street:  Filmmaker Greg Barker was given unprecedented access to the last year of President Obama’s foreign policy team.

My Take:  I always enjoy a documentary.
