What to Watch For:  After principal photography was finished, the studio decided to replace disgraced actor Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer as Jean Paul Getty at the cost of 10 million dollars.

Word on the Street: The film is based on a true story and is inspired by the book Painfully Rich: the Outrageous Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Heirs of J. Paul Getty (1995) by John Pearson.

My Take:  Any film with Michelle Williams is a movie that I want to see.

What to Watch For:  The film is a true story and is based on the memoir Molly’s Game: From Hollywood’s Elite to Wall Street’s Billionaire Boys Club, My High-Stakes Adventure in the World of Underground Poker by Molly Bloom.

Word on the Street: The outstanding cast includes Idris Elba as Molly’s lawyer, Kevin Costner as Molly’s father, Michael Cera as a celebrity poker player, and Chris O’Dowd as a happy go lucky poker player.

My Take: The film is written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, the writer of Moneyball and The Social Network.

My Take: The film is currently at 90 percent based on 127 reviews.
