Serving up next in the seasonal change: denim. denim. denim. I am totes counting down the days until Fall (GA style), so I can slip into my denim jeans without a heat rash.

RN fashionistas are celebrating two favored denim trends for Fall 2017: raw and distressed edge styles. According to Esquire, raw denim means “Not washed (one of the last steps in manufacturing jeans), meaning the dye is still its original form.” In a cliff notes version: have at it. It’s your sole responsibility to break in your own raw jeans. Crisp is all the feels for this style.

As for a distressed edge, it’s just like how it reads. The edges of the jean look worn and aged – creating a vintage appeal. Side note: I’m obsessing this denim trend in a light wash (catch the look below).

Here’s your indigo inspiration as you patiently wait for the “denim go” nod.

As if waiting for the CW premieres isn’t hard enough, now we’re adding raw and distressed denim to the mix. Of course, you can go ahead and try out the new denim wear, but I doubt you’ll do it without sweating 50 pounds of humidity. Until then…pin, add to cart, buy, repeat. 😉
