You all know how much I love free concerts. This one is no different. “Strummin’ on the Porch,” brought to you by The Georgia Trust and Atlanta History Center’s Party with the Past, is bringing some excitement to the Atlanta area on Thursday, August 28th.
This FREE outdoor concert will be on the front lawn of Rhodes Hall. Have you ever seen or been to Rhodes Hall? Oh…my…goodness. It is breathtaking. A concert right outside of it?! I might be in purgatory.READ MORE: Oprah Winfrey Visits Ellen DeGeneres In Her Last Week Of Show
Award-winning indie folk/Americana band She N She will be serenading you under the stars. I’ve heard some of their stuff–you’re in for a treat. The concert begins at 6pm.
While the band is performing, you can head over to the cash bar for a cocktail or get some food from the “One Love” Jamaican food truck. You can do whatever you’d like. I just want you to do one thing–have FUN! Don’t forget to bring your blanket. No one likes grass stains on the seat of their pants.READ MORE: Steven Tyler Cancels Shows And Enters Treatment After Relapsing
