An absolutely fabulous event is coming up on Friday that I do not want you to miss. Jazz on the Lawn 2014 is a celebration of the music of Duke Ellington as performed by Tedd Howe, past instructor at the Berklee College of Music. He’ll be reinventing his music along with sharing several anecdotes and background information about the amazing musician as well.

The concert will begin at 7:30pm and tickets can be purchased online and at the door. If you purchase online, tickets will be $15. If you purchase at the door, they’re a little bit more at $20. Parking is free and is on-site at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. And get this, if it rains, the concert isn’t cancelled. They’ll be moving it to an indoor courtyard. I love rich places.
