Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead on Sunday in New York at age 46. The actor still had a few other projects he had been currently working, specifically “The Hunger Games” installments.
Hoffman starred as Plutarch Heavensbee in Liongate’s “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” and was set to appear again in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” and “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2”. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor finished filming “Part 1” and had only a few days left to shoot “Part 2”. Sources state that Hoffman’s death will not affect the release dates in November 2014 and 2015.READ MORE: CW Talk Around the Net: 5/16/22 - 5/22/22
“Mockingjay” has continued filming in Atlanta this week.
