Every year, Dragon*Con is held in beautiful Atlanta, Georgia where fans come out, participate in fun activities and maybe even meet their idols. Dragon*Con is a huge pop culture and multi-media convention that focuses on the science fiction and fantasy genre. This year, Dragon*Con starts during Labor Day weekend (August 31 – September 3) in Atlanta, so mark your calenders! Already sound interesting? Then check out the CW stars who are attending and a preview of other familiar, notable faces. The star power may just shock you!

The Vampire Diaries: Actors Kat Graham, Steven R. McQueen, Joseph Morgan, Ian Somerhalder, Michael Trevino and Paul Wesley from the hit CW series will all be attending. It’s the perfect opportunity to hear some TVD dish before season 4 premieres October 11 at 8pm.

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog: Joss Whedon who brought you Buffy and Angel created this internet sensation. Spot Dr. Horrible’s Single-Along Blog actress Felicia Day at Dragon*Con.

Other Notable Actors: Anthony Michael Hall from Sixteen CandlesThe Breakfast Club and Weird Science — the famous brat packer a reason to go for sure. Joe Manganiello, the star of Magic Mike and werewolf Alcide on True Blood, will hopefully show off his abs (crossing my fingers). And lastly, Patrick Stewart who’s most known for his performances in Star Trek and as Professor Xavier in the X-Men films, will make an appearance.

As an X-Men geek, Patrick Stewart’s name was my second favorite on the list. The first, of course, are all The Vampire Diaries stars. I cry when TVD ends and I jump up for joy when it starts. Who are you most excited to see at Dragon*Con?
