If you have roots in New York, you will appreciate the nod to home with Mia’s Dominican Salon. Because the Dominican Republic boasts such a diverse group of people, Mia’s stylists are adept with doing all types hair, especially curly or wavy hair. If you prefer wearing your hair in a natural state (without perms or chemicals), Dominican styling is a good alternative to traditional styling because its straightening techniques are effective but only last until you wash your hair next. Mia’s does offer extension styling but you will need to call for a consultation first.
