There are advantages to the cold, which include consuming warm and comforting meals and drinks. High among the list of comforting drinks is the hot toddy. Used in some communities as an elixir to banish away colds, a hot toddy provides double warmth. First the warmth comes from the bourbon, brandy or scotch used in the drink. The second wave of warmth comes from the fact that the drink is actually warmed. These fine Atlanta venues have all included their own spin on this traditional drink and each is both toast worthy and toasty.
