It roasts its own coffee on site and offer pour-overs and other specialties for true coffee fanatics. It’s also a great place for people watching as it attracts a young and fun crowd. The competitions are free to enter or to watch, and they are a great excuse to get your friends together for an evening out.

This spot focuses on importing high-quality green coffee and then handles the roasting in order to maintain control of the quality of the end product. The atmosphere is not as cool or hip as Octane, but the coffee is incredibly tasty. Get some to go and have your own treat at home, too.

Batdorf & Bronson is not a coffee house, it is an actual roastery located in Atlanta. This spot offer tours of the facility and educational classes where you can learn about the beans you’re about to take home. Batdorf & Bronson may even give you a cappuccino on the house if you’re lucky. Contact the roasters for details on tour times. You can also purchase this coffee at the Dancing Goats Cafe.

Beanealogy is billed as Atlanta’s locally owned, sustainable micro-roaster. It has its own coffee farm in Nicaragua and sources its coffee from all over the world.
