Music fans in Atlanta will be singing a new tune in 2013 as a number of great concerts are headed to the metro area. It doesn’t matter what your tastes may be because rock, pop, country and other unique artists have already announced Atlanta dates. Atlanta remains to be one of a handful of cities in the country with venues to accommodate any artist and any tour size. So make a New Year’s resolution to take in some live music in 2013. Any of the acts below would be a great choice.

If you aren’t familiar with violinist Emilie Autumn, here is your chance to get acquainted. Don’t expect a boring old violin recital at The Loft. Autumn, who has played with the likes of Courtney Love and Billy Corgan, brings a full cast of back-up singers with her as she belts out mysterious lyrics with her powerful, yet smokey-sounding voice. Her concerts are part Broadway musical and part rave. There is no doubt she will be wearing her own designs when it comes to her unique outfits, and she’ll be entertaining for two non-stop hours on January 19.
