Try These Trends On for Size

Fall is quickly approaching and it's time to pack up those summer dresses and take out the latest trends. Here are the fall trends we think are worth trying on.

Red, Red Wine: DVF Red Dress

Roses are red, and this Fall so are lips, skirts, jackets, hats and any other number of signature pieces. Crimson seems to be the color of the Fall, whether it’s going all out and wearing the devilish color from head to toe or adding a pop of color here and there with a ruby belt or scarf.

Though his retrospective at The Met may be over (good riddance to three hour lines!), Alexander McQueen’s influence will be felt full-force this Fall as we will see an influx of the Romantic Goth Trend. Though you wouldn’t want to look like you were born and raised in a Hot Topic, you might consider adding heavy swatches of lace, high necklines and dark-almost black lipstick to update your already existing closet.

Think beiges, dark brown, burnt oranges, purples, deep green and purple with standouts of royal blue and bright yellow.

Or consider the Opening Ceremony slit tartan skirt that looks like something straight out of Clueless for a more literal take on the ‘90s trend.

Instead of starting the flare at the ankle, this fall the flare will start at the knee or thigh making them more of a mixture of hippie and sailor than anything else.
