The city of Atlanta has really joined forces and united (see what I did there) when it comes to our relatively new soccer team Atlanta United. Saturday they were given an opportunity to congregate and celebrate the first home game of the season by throwing down a block party in the streets of Virginia Highlands. It was awesome, ATL loves them some soccer….who knew!
The Atlanta Sport and Social Club made sure all the fans felt right at home with this event. The ticket included access to all the ATL United festivities, a t-shirt, and a complimentary drink (which came in an awesome ATL United cup).
This tiny fan loved his cup a little too much 🙂 WARNING: Cuteness overload!
Something that really stood out to me at this event was the entertainment. The DJs and performances were super hype and really did a great job at pumping up the crowd. I may or may not have been a part of the dance circle.
There was connect four, jenga, cornhole, and velcro soccer were set up to keep everyone in a competitive spirit. I also saw a few food trucks set up but honestly I was too busy dancing beer in hand to make it to the noms!
I had an excellent time and Atlanta Sport And Social Club really pulled through on this one!
Love being in the know of all the goodness Atlanta has to offer? So do we! Keep up with the Kait’s 8 Events List, and we will keep up with you. #Kaits8
