What to Watch For:  The film is based on a true story and there is an actual house in California that is a tourist site.

Word On The Street:  The house was in constant construction for almost 20 years.

My View:  I always love to see Helen Mirren on the screen.

The film opens nationwide on Friday.

What to Watch For:   The film is nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at this year’s Academy Awards.

Word on the Street:  The film is nominated for 9 awards at the Lebanese Movie Awards.

My Take:  This is a film that I am really looking forward to seeing.

Wait For Your Laugh  (2017)

Documentary on the late, great Rose Marie, who had a nearly ninety year career in American entertainment. Wait For Your Laugh Website

What to Watch For:  Rose Marie is best known for her portrayal of Sally in the 1960’s classic The Dick Van Dyke show.

Word on the Street:  The film won the Audience Award at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival.

My View:  In my opinion The Dick Van Dyke show was one of the greatest Television comedies of all time.

The film opens Friday exclusively at Plaza Theatre
