The general he impersonates loves executing people, so his second in command brings forth a rebellious prisoner in order to “celebrate” – she is the doppelganger of one of Oliver’s past loves. It appears Oliver is going to shoot her but he turns to the chief instead, thus revealing his fake identity. To make matters worse, the ensuing chaos damages the controls necessary to open the temporal gateway and General Shot expedites his plans to blow it up.

Harrison Wells chokes Felicity and commands her to turn the power back on. She doesn’t comply so he prepares to give her the fatal phase hand. Kara stumbles into the room and tells Felicity to give Harrison the code. He cuts power back on and re-prepares to operate.

The heroes launch a full-fledged attack on those guarding the gateway.
