How to Wear Pantone Color 2017: Greenery

All is right in the world again when the Color of the Year is chosen. In case you missed it, Pantone revealed it’s Color of the Year to be (drumroll please)… Greenery!

After the reveal, a select few (like a handful of fashion designers) responded, “I knew it!” Or, many of us (like me) blurted, “ahh-haa.” Whether you were a lucky guess or a surprised gasp, Greenery will be a breath of fresh air in all aspects regarding design, decor and fashion this year.
The company describes the color pick as:

Greenery is nature’s neutral. The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world. This shift is reflected by the proliferation of all things expressive of Greenery in daily lives through urban planning, architecture, lifestyle and design choices globally. A constant on the periphery, Greenery is now being pulled to the forefront – it is an omnipresent hue around the world.

Refreshing, right? Buttttt…how can we prepare our closet to welcome Greenery for this Spring?

Let’s take it to the runways. Check out these Greenery style predictions many fashion brands got right in their Spring 2017 collections.

Looks like this bright neutral will be used to highlight color combos so they POP and WOW you’re way through Spring.
Are you refreshing in Pantone’s Greenery yet, or will it take a little more convincing?
