WUPA Station Manager Tim Bennett commented “CW69 is proud to telecast the first home football game for the Kennesaw State Owls. In a market that is thirsty for live local sports, we feel this once in a lifetime event will be a big draw for local viewers and college football fans in the Atlanta area”.

Over the course of the last two years, CW69 has committed itself to more sports programming by partnering with the Atlanta Falcons to televise preseason games, airing two hours of weekly team programming and producing a regular slate of Falcons specials each year.

CW69 is also a network affiliate for Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) football. An ACC game will precede the Kennesaw State-Edward Waters game.
