In order to celebrate the release of the Twentieth Century Fox film “Poltergeist”, the Plaza Theatre is going to do something that has never been done in Atlanta. Starting Thursday 5/21 at 8 pm they will be showing the film for 24 hours straight on both of the theatre’s screens. “Poltergeist” is not a remake of the 1982 horror classic but a reboot, produced by legendary director Sam Rami.
“Poltergeist” is the story of a married couple (Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt) who move into a new house with their children. They start experiencing mysterious things happening inside the house. Now, their daughter is missing, and it seems there is a ghost in the house that is holding their daughter captive.
