The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is happening, March 27th-29th at Blackburn Park! It’s a 3-day celebration of Brookhaven, GA. I’ve either gone to school or worked in the Brookhaven area all of my life, so I feel a special bond with it. I’ll probably make an appearance, I think that’s important. Amid the celebratory fun, there will be musical performances, arts & crafts market, children’s village, 5K Run/1K Walk, and a pet parade. My goodness, I would live a thousand lives if I saw a dachshund in a tutu.

But here’s the best part about the festival, if you’re not from Brookhaven, that’s okay! It’s a celebration to get people to the City of Brookhaven. Truly look around and explore what it has to offer (you won’t be disappointed). Plus, you’ll get a chance to celebrate the onset of spring with the lovely Cherry Blossom trees that were planted in December 2014.
