Okay, I didn’t even know that Fernbank had a forest. I also didn’t know they called it Fernbank Forest, and it’s considered “Atlanta’s hidden gem.” Guess I’ve got some exploring to do. This Friday, take a stroll through Fernbank Forest with Museum scientists. You’ll get a chance to discover the great outdoors and some interconnected parts of Georgia’s Piedmont forest ecosystem.
The entire tour is approximately two hours and is free for members! If you’re not a member, like me, it’ll be $5. You can shell that out for some nature-esque fun. Now for your information, space is limited to only twenty people. I mean, I wouldn’t want to be in the forest with more than twenty people anyway.
Also, advanced reservations are required. You can call 404.929.6400 to save your spot!
