Earth Day 2014

Okay, so I joke about a lot of things. My clothing choices…my eating habits…everything. But I have to take Earth Day seriously. We are blessed each day with natural beauty and wonder, and we have to continue to care for it!

You can help do this by participating in Earth Day 2014 in Downtown Atlanta! Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District are waiting for you to help celebrate Earth Day with them by improving the Downtown Atlanta area. How can we improve it, it’s already beautiful? Darling, even the most gorgeous things need primp and preening now and again. Your task for the morning will be to plant flowers along the new streetcar route! See how simple that is?

Volunteers will meet at the Woodruff Park Pavilion at the corner of Peachtree Street and Edgewood Avenue. You’ll be playing in the dirt again like a Pike commercial from 8:00am-10:00am on Tuesday, April 22nd.
