Queen Latifah Officiates 33 Marriages at GRAMMYs

More than 30 couples, including same sex couples, pronounced “I do” at the 56th GRAMMY Awards on Sunday.

During the performance by Queen Latifah, Madonna, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert, who sang their live rendition of “Same Love,” 33 couples made their way to stage where Queen Latifah officiated their marriage. On top of having her own CW show, the Queen is also a certified minister in California… who knew?

I guess now the GRAMMYs are open for nuptial business and your wedding song could be sung live by a GRAMMY winner. How cool would it be to get married on the GRAMMYs stage?

The Grammy’s totally disrespected all the people who disagree with gay marriage and it put a lot of people in a very uncomfortable position!
