After much social sharing, endless clicking and impatient waiting, the 2014 People’s Choice Awards votes are finally in!
And, CW69 fans we should be VERY proud…our voices were definitely heard. Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Joseph Morgan, “The Queen Latifah Show” and “Reign” all won a category and brought their own crystal-clear trophy home (Totally okay if you’re doing a victory dance—so did I).
The People Choice Awards honors big stars who were chosen from fans, so here’s what your votes won the CW stars:
Onscreen chemistry: Ian Somerhalder (Damon) and Nina Dobrev (Elena), “The Vampire Diaries”
Actor in a new TV series: Joseph Morgan (Klaus), “The Originals”
Favorite new TV drama: “Reign”
Favorite new talk show host: “The Queen Latifah Show”
The awards show had unforgettable moments, from Justin Timberlake’s marriage advice, Kaley Cuoco’s hosting, Beth Behrs performing “Baby Got Back” to the MOST interesting one, a hot side-cheek-kiss from Somerhalder to Dobrev after winning their award.
A smooch that took many breaths away (including mine) but was it awkward or sweet? The two aren’t together in real life anymore so maybe they wanted to give their Delena fans a treat? Either way, we won’t complain.
A huge congrats to all the CW fans and these lovely actors who have stolen our hearts away.
To put a cherry on top of these B-I-G victories, winning an award is how Nina Dobrev rang in her 25th Birthday, not a bad way at all. Check out her fun pics & don’t forget to send some birthday love:
