“Iron Man 3” (2013)
Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) is obsessed with building more of his Iron Man suits. However they are causing him sleepiness nights and are straining the relationship with his girlfriend, Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow). A new villain, named Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) is suddenly attacking the U.S. and is hell-bent on destroying everything Tony holds dear, including Pepper. Iron Man has done it before, but can he come back from the brink of destruction once more? Iron Man 3 Website
What to Watch For: This is the only major feature film being released this weekend, so expect big box office numbers.
Word on the Street: This is the first “Iron Man” film that Jon Favreau hasn’t directed, though he was heavily involved in the production.
My Take: Can “Iron Man 3” build on the success of last year’s blockbuster hit, “The Avengers?”
If you can’t go to the theatre this weekend, stay at home and watch movies on CW69.
“I Spy” (2002) When the world’s most high tech stealth fighter plane is stolen, it will take the unlikely teaming of the foremost spy, Alex Scott (Owen Wilson) with World Champion Boxer, Kelly Robinson (Eddie Murphy) to defeat the bad guys and stop their terrorist ultimate plans for the plane.
“Daddy Day Care” (2003) Eddie Murphy stars in this comedy about two fathers, who after losing their jobs have to take their kids out of a pricey day care. That’s whenthe dads decide that they can run one in their own home.
“Table for Three” (2009) Scott (Brandon Routh) just broke up with his girlfriend and now his big apartment feels very lonely. He meets Ryan (Jesse Bradford) and Mary (Sophia Bush) and decides that they should move in with him. At first things go well then he meets the girl of his dreams, Leslie (Jennifer Morrison). But Ryan and Mary are a little possessive of Scott and things get a little nutty.
