The 85th Annual Academy Awards. Hollywood’s biggest night.
From Jennifer Lawrence managing to trip (but still like a princess), to Channing’s continuous gift of making me –ahem, all of us girls swoon during his dance with Charlize, to Harry Potter showing off his broadway voice and moves, the Oscars celebrated another successful night. And when it came to dressing for the event, our favorite stars shone in the likes of Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Dior, and Valentino… and walked ever so gracefully in Christian Louboutins, mirroring the infamous carpet of passionate red from their very soles.
There were so many gorgeous dresses, from Jennifer Lawrence to Jennifer Garner to Jennifer Anniston. But in my book, the three gowns that I personally want hanging in my closet –right now please– were worn by Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, and Amanda Seyfried. To these ladies, I give the #BestDressed Oscar.
What you didn’t see on TV were some of our own, attending the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party. See for yourself what CW beauties Nina Dobrev, Kat Graham, and Jaime King wore below:
(Kat’s a blonde now, incase you didn’t catch that. Does this mean Bonnie will be going blonde, too? Maybe it’s that Expression stuff she’s doing…)
Of these three, I’m going to have to give Nina the Oscar. This may actually be my favorite dress she’s worn, ever.
What were your Oscar favorites?
