Aussie power! Deadline reported that “Reign” — a pilot currently in-development for The CW but not yet slated to appear in the fall 2013 lineup — has cast actress Ad

elaide Kane. She joins a clan of other CW Aussie actresses (Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin “The Vampire Diaries”).

Kane has appeared in an Australian soap “Neighbours” and as a soccer tomboy in web series “Pretty Tough.”

In “Reign,” Kane will play Mary Queen of Scots as she rises to power and arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis, and with her three best friends as ladies-in-waiting. It details the secret history of survival at French Court amidst fierce foes, dark forces, and a world of sexual intrigue.
