As the temperature rises and drops, and rises and drops again, edgy (faux) leather-accented pieces are your go-to answer.

I know what you’re thinking. Leather (or faux leather) is a fall fashion trend. And right you are.
But what if I told you that we didn’t have to break up with this texture just yet? Runways at Spring 2013 Fashion Week were all about leather pieces; pants, leggings, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets. We’re seeing leather sleeves, leather shoulders, leather piping…
Leather in the cooler weather is basic — but when transitioning from winter to spring, or to keep up with our moody weather here in Hotlanta, warmer-weather-leather is key. It’s all about balance. Check out the leather leggings below from Paper Crown, and photos from popular fashion bloggers to see some of the ways (faux) leather is currently trending. Even the smallest patch of leather on the pocket of a comfy tee does wonders in amping up your otherwise everyday outfit, and keeps your style right where you want it to be.
Leather is a classic and is extremely versatile. It’s edgy, conservative, casual, sophisticated, and always makes a statement without trying too hard. Trust me, it’s love.
