Shakira and her beau, Gerard Piqué, welcomed a beautiful baby boy on Tuesday night. After exciting pregnancy updates and stunning maternity pictures with her (equally sexy) man, their bundle of joy is finally here. The “Whenever, Wherever” singer and her man named their new son Milan. Hmm… What exactly does Milan stand for?
A statement from Shakira’s website shared the meaning:
“The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification.”
Watch out Mom and dad– you’re son will definitely be a heart breaker!
Earlier in the day, Shakira took to social media to let her fans know, both in English and Spanish, that she was on her way to the hospital and wished for happy thoughts.
