Reporting Becca Ritchie
Becca Ritchie claims she's from Mystic Falls, but really, she lives in Atlanta where humidity is her greatest foe. She loves comic books, blue nail polish and Jonathan Taylor Thomas circa 1995. She frequents Twitter to dish about CW shows, and when she's not blogging about TV, she reviews YA books at Nawanda Files, a young adult book blog. Follow her on Twitter @Becca_Ritchie.
Jessica De Gouw appeared on “Arrow” as The Huntress, a female vigilante and love interest for Oliver Queen — but was her departure too soon? At the Television Critics Association press tour for CBS drama “Golden Boy,” Greg Berlanti, a producer of “Arrow,” was prodded about The Huntress’ future on the show.
From TV Fanatic:
“[The Huntress] is going to come back,” Berlanti said. “We’re just writing that episode right now.” As for just how The Huntress may re-enter Oliver Queen’s life, Berlanti only teased: “We like to think of her as the crazy ex-girlfriend. So if you can only imagine the turns…her mission isn’t done or complete yet. She wanted to kill her Dad and he’s still alive.”
However, a series regular might not be in De Gouw’s future. According to Deadline, she landed the lead in NBC’s new series “Dracula.”
Also, after checking out some message boards, I’ve quickly noticed that fans have grown fond of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rikards), and luckily, Berlanti recognizes this too. He added that she’s going to become “an even more integral and active part of the dynamic of the show.”
Watch “Arrow” on Wednesday at 8 pm on CW69.
