You can email her at beccaritchie3@gmail.com The film “Need for Speed” based on the “most successful racing video game series in the world, and one of the most successful video game franchises of all time” has been slated for production, Disney Casting announced.
All the film’s extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will be cast in Atlanta, GA where shooting will talk place from February 25th, 2013 through June 3rd, 2013.
Extras have yet to be cast, but since talent must legally be eligible to work in Atlanta GA, it seems a good portion may be filmed in the peach state. Project Casting also reports that filmmaker Scott Waugh from “Act of Valor” will direct the movie.
“Need for Speed” stars Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad”) as a racecar driver who owns a garage that modifies expensive cars to make them faster. When his best friend is murdered, he’s framed and sent to prison where he seeks revenge upon his release.
Dominic Cooper and Imogen Poots also star.
