“The Vampire Diaries” is on a role with new lore this season, including the Brotherhood of the Five. We don’t know much about The Five besides their cool tattoos (it’s a good thing Jeremy thinks they’re “nice” — *wink, wink*), and that they’re overly skilled in killing vampires. Episode thirteen, we’ll see Vaughn, one of The Five who might just provoke Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and a female recurring character.
You may have heard that the show is about to introduce Vaughn, a “ruggedly handsome, charming, built, and tough as hell” guy in his late 20s with a super-sexy accent. He’s one of The Five hunters, and he’s very comfortable with his place at the top of the supernatural food chain. He knows a lot about Damon and uses it to get the upper hand. What he doesn’t quite understand, though, is how strongly Damon feels about Elena. In the same episode (413), we’ll meet Caitlin, another recurring character. She’s a woman with a profound and surprising impact on Professor Shane, and she’ll help shed some light on his motivations.
Are you excited about Vaughn? And what’s up with Professor Shane? I sure would like to know what he’s hiding.
