I see some red, white and blue! It’s time for the 30th Annual Veterans Day Parade!
On November 11, come out and celebrate our American Veterans in the Downtown Atlanta area. The parade starts at 11:11am on Saturday on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd. The parade route will go towards Centennial Olympic Park near the World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium. You can actually take a seat in the Parade Viewing Stand right on Baker Street between both of those attractions as well.
And guess who’s the parade grand marshal? Tim Abell! He’s an outstanding actor and producer who is also an U.S. Army Veteran who has served in the 2/75th Ranger Battalion and 3rdUS Infantry.
And if you want to get a little fancy, the 2012 Freedom Ball will be taking place on November 10th at 6:00pm in the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium. I might just show up because I love dressing up.
