After a strong premiere, striking the hearts of 4.14 million viewers, The CW has ordered a full season of “Arrow.” The show’s premiere was also the best for The CW since “The Vampire Diaries” first aired in 2009, and ”Arrow” proved to hold a dedicated audience, the second episode drawing in 3.5 million viewers.
Stephen Amell who plays Oliver Queen got a little too excited by the good news. He took to Twitter before The CW officially announced the full-season order, and later, he apologized. Here’s his twitter feed (amusing as always):
Best way to start a Monday? Getting picked up for your back nine episodes. Thwick. #Arrow

1. The downside of enthusiasm? I tweeted the news about Arrow's back nine pickup before that news was fit to be tweeted.

2. My apologies to everyone at CW and Warner Bros. It wasn't my news to share.

3. On the plus side, the crew got to laugh at me. Really hard.

The other two new CW shows, “Beauty and the Beast” and “Emily Owens, M.D.” received script orders for 3 episodes in addition to the 13 initial episodes.
Watch “Arrow” on Wednesdays at 8 pm, and catch all new episodes of “Supernatural” right after at 9 pm.
