Becca Ritchie Becca Ritchie is a Georgia native studying English and Mass Media Arts at UGA. Most of her time is spent reading—pretty much anything—but most often you can catch her with a Young Adult book in hand. She's a fan of Bluebell, Alabama and vampires who live in Mystic Falls. She also runs a YA book blog called Nawanda Files (http://nawandafiles.blogspot.com)with a girl who looks far too much like her.  Follow her on Twitter @Becca_Ritchie.  You can email her at beccaritchie3@gmail.com

“Battlestar Galactica” junkies, nerds, uber-fans, latecomers who stayed up day and night to finish the series in a few weeks (you know who you are), you have a reason to celebrate. “Arrow” has targeted stars from sci-fi television shows. In addition to “Torchwood’s” John Barrowman, Tahmoh Penikett from “Battlestar Galactica” will appear in “Arrow.” Penikett announced on his Official Facebook Page that he’s currently filming for a guest role that may or may not increase to a multi-episode arc.

GreenArrowTV confirmed the news:

Penikett will be playing Tom Salvati, right hand man to Jeffrey Nordling’s mob boss Frank Bertinelli. Bertinelli is, of course, the father to Helena Bertinelli, who also happens to be crimefighter known as The Huntress. She first appears in Arrow Episode 7, “Muse of Fire.”

“Arrow” can be enjoyed by nearly everyone now, including (but not limited to) sci-fi lovers, people with Batman withdrawals, girls who love six-packs and well, girls who love six-packs. I am in for the long haul. Mostly because I fit all four categories. Do you?
