Stop listening to that same CD over and over again, because it’s time for Music Midtown! On September 21st and 22nd, dust off that picnic basket and head down to Piedmont Park for Atlanta’s best music festival. Music Midtown is known for is their awesome lineup of performers, and this year they did not disappoint:

Friday, September 21st:

  • Van Hunt
  • Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
  • T.I.
  • The Avett Brothers
  • Foo Fighters

Saturday, September 22nd:

  • O’Brother
  • Civil Twilight
  • LP
  • Garbage
  • Adam Ant
  • Ludacris
  • Neon Trees
  • Florence + Machine
  • Girl Talk
  • Pearl Jam

One word for this year’s Music Midtown–EPIC.

Now when you purchase your tickets there are three options: General Admission, VIP and Super VIP. Some of these ticket options provide you with some pretty cool features like backstage access, private indoor/outdoor areas to schmooze over cocktails and the best feature: private restrooms. That’s always better than sharing with thousands of other people.

Also, some of the proceeds from this year’s Music Midtown will go to the Centers of Hope initiative. This will help fund recreation centers and after-school activities for kids in the Atlanta area. Good music with a good purpose. I love it.

So hurry and get your tickets so you can jam out to these great performers! If anyone gets an autograph from Florence or the lead singer of Neon Trees, jealousy will be sent your way… lovingly, of course.
