Take a second. Walk into your living room.
Now, walk into your kitchen.
Still have Mom’s Flower Power wallpaper from the seventies? You might want to take a trip to the 29th Annual Fall Atlanta Home Show. Hundreds of exhibits and a few home design superstars will help you cook up some fresh ideas for your home. At this show you can actually see and test a few products as well as learn about new design trends. Now you won’t be the one to buy the polka-dot toaster that chirps when your toast is ready.
Another cool part of this show that I personally love, is the Sweetwater Backyard Beer Garden. Home Show attendees that donate $5 to Hope Atlanta, get to sample some of Sweet Water’s finest beers, while learning about backyard landscape ideas. Hope Atlanta’s mission is to prevent homelessness in the area and to fight against it whenever it arises.
There are many other events happening at the show, including the “See-Thru House” and a fire safety house exhibit presented by the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.
The show starts on September 21st and goes through September 23rd at the Cobb Galleria.
